2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
We process the following personal data:
- Name, email, age, photos, bio — to provide the user account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Location (GPS coordinates) — to display nearby users (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Push token — for push notifications (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent)
- Device and usage data — for app improvement and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest)
- Email verification code — to confirm email address during registration
Automated decision-making: Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place. Location-based display of users is algorithmic but has no legal effect on the user.
3. Data Recipients and Transfer to Third Countries
Your data is processed by the following services:
- MongoDB Inc. — database hosting (USA, standard contractual clauses)
- Sentry (Functional Software Inc.) — error monitoring (USA, standard contractual clauses)
- Google Places API — geo services (USA, Google privacy policy)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (USA, standard contractual clauses)
- Apple Push Notification Service / Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications (USA)
- Cloudinary — image hosting (USA, standard contractual clauses)
When transferring to third countries (outside the EU), standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR are applied.
4. Location Data Processing
Location data is used only to display nearby users. Exact coordinates are not shared with other users. You can disable location services in the app settings at any time.
5. Storage Period and Deletion
Data is stored until the account is deleted. You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed.
